Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji started his elementary education at Chrisland School and proceeded to Ifako International Secondary School for his secondary education. A product of the University of Lagos, who graduated with B.Sc. Honors, Second Class Division in Estate Management. As an Estate Surveyor and Valuer; and an expert in project Management, he decided to brush up and master the art of management by pursuing another Master’s Degree in Facility Management at the University of Lagos.
Born and raised in Lagos, with over a decade of work experience in diverse areas of both engineering practice, project management, computer networking, Estate Surveying and Valuing and as well as Organizational Building and Structuring. He has been opportune to hold enviable positions in different organizations. He also founded one of Africa’s leading Youth Organization named YACOON (Young Achievers Campaign Organization of Nigeria), a national campaign organization advocating for good governance.
As an Entrepreneur at his best, he co-founded one of Nigeria’s foremost Media and Managing Company called One Integrated Management Services, due to the uniqueness and outstanding performance of the firm, this landed Mr. Temitope Adewale his first appointment as the Special Assistant to the Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu on Media and Campaign as soon as he graduated from the University.
Being a young, vibrant and energetic young man, he has in his career portfolio, valuable years of experience serving 2 past civilian Governors in Lagos State as a Special assistant and Adviser both to Excellencies, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN.
He obeyed the clarion call to serve his country as a Youth corps member in the Northern part of Nigeria, Maiduguri in Borno State to be precise. As a result of his outstanding performance as a Platoon Member and Leader, he was given an appointment to serve as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Borno State. After serving as a political appointee both in the Eastern and the Northern part of the Country, he returned to further develop his business and career as Co- Founder / CFO of O.N.E Integrated Management Services and – S- 13 Media both situated in Lagos, Nigeria. He also served as the Head, Special Projects / Brand Manager of The Knot Centre, Lagos Nigeria between 2009 and 2010. In 2009, He established, Young Achievers Campaign Organisation Of Nigeria (YACOON), an NGO which he runs till date.
As a Politician, he started his career in Lagos as a revenue Supervisor at Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue (LIRS) in 2010; alongside he got actively involved in the grassroots electioneering. He was later appointed into the Civil service where he served in various ministries and agencies; among which are the Public Service Office, Ministry of Lands, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development and Office of the Chief of Staff. Subsequent appointments were as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Office of Chief of Staff and Special Assistant to the Governor on Budget Monitoring respectively. In late 2014, He was re-appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Works and Infrastructure.
He is a son of Honourable. (Dr.) Adewale Elijah Oluwatayo, popular known as Dr. JAH; a respected and dynamic grassroot politician who was representing his constituency at the Green Chamber of the Nigerian National Assembly until his demise in 2016. Following this sudden incident, he decided to contest for the position as a member of the House of Representative on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) during which he withdrew from the race based on Party’s decision.
He currently serves as the Special Adviser on Youth, Politics and Policy to the National Leader of the All progressives Congress. He is a dedicated and loyal member of APC.
On the 5th of October, 2018 Adewale Temitope JAH was elected as the candidate of APC representing Ifako -Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the 2019 General Election into the Lagos State House of Assembly. On Saturday, the 9th of March of 2019, the INEC’s Returning Officer for Ifako-Ijaye Constituency 1, Prof. Smith Jaja declared Mr Adewale Temitope the winner having polled 16, 195 votes against the closest rival Mr Adetula Kadejo, who polled 3,263 votes. Thereby becoming the Honourable Member-Elect for Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Temitope is married with a child.
